Here's the Skinny-
Why Skin is Drier During the Winter
Many people have asked this question. The answer is more simple that you might think.
The dryer the air, the drier your skin will be. Especially here in UT, because this is a desert climate. The Cold air cannot hold water, because it begins to freeze at 32 degrees F, and then turns into a solid and drops out of the air. We see evidence of this after a storm, when we get the "lake effect", which is the evaporation of the Great Salt Lake turning to snow, and then dropping back to the ground. When the air cannot hold moisture, it is drier, and dehydrates your skin.
For a simple solution increase your moisturizers, or add Hydration Booster.
